Thousands of our farmers still lack access to basic farming tools that can aid them in farming activities and boost their yield. They also lack knowledge on how to optimize their inputs to ensure that they will get the best possible harvest with the least cost.
Our farmers are still heavily dependent on inorganic fertilizers that are not only getting more expensive by the day but also reduce the structural stability of soil over time that leads to environmental problems and loss of biodiversity.
GRF Hublag listened to our partner rice and corn farmers and we are responding to their needs by organizing a concert to raise funds for knapsack sprayers and organic fertilizers which will enable them to switch to a more sustainable method of farming.
