Hublag conducted a 3-day activity on "low input level farming system"

Hublag conducted a 3-day activity on “low input level farming system” to improve both short- and long- term farm profitability” and decrease the use of off-farm resources such as fertilizers and pesticides to reduce the farmers’ health risks. This was attended by the Municipal Agriculture Officers (MAO) and 125 rice and corn farmers from Maayon and Dumarao. In collaboration with the MAOs and Dept. Agriculture Provincial Agriculturist/Provincial Agriculturist Rice Program Coordinator, Hublag rice and corn farmers can enjoy lower cost of organic fertilizers, by using BioN. This costs only P 100 per pack bringing down cost of farm inputs of farmers by 50%.
